Welcome to Woodside Art Studio!

Jill Pratt is a well known watercolour artist who lives in St. Catharines, in the shadow of the escarpment. It is here that she finds constant and abundant inspiration. Whether painting the shores of Sauble Beach, the rugged trails in Tobermory or the vineyards of Niagara, she hopes her watercolours reflect the love and respect she holds for the land.

New Art!

Two art shows are coming up...The GreyBruce Art Show in Lion's Head runs from Friday evening, July30th, 2010 (opening reception) to 5:00pm on the Monday evening. It's the holiday weekend, so if you're up that way, please drop in!
The Sauble Beach August Show and Sale opens Friday 13th(!) with an evening reception and runs through Saturday and Sunday. This is an annual show which I look forward to, as much of my work is of the area.
I have 10 new watercolour paintings for this show.

What a Spring!

It has been a busy time for us all. I was accepted into BeauxArts Brampton's juried show with my painting "The Great Wall of Sauble" in March. In April, my painting "Sauble Salmon" was accepted into Southampton's Gallery juried show, Feast For the Eyes.

The painting you see here is called "Sunset Swing" and was made into one of the banners celebrating artists in Owen Sound and will fly for a year on the main street in front of City Hall.
