Time flies when you're having fun and what a great season it has been!
I will have to backtrack a bit as I have not been very conscientious about keeping this blog updated!
The Shoreline Artists August Show was a great success, not only personally, but for the organization. I am very grateful to those who came to view the art and those who purchased my paintings. I only hope that I can paint a new collection for the Spring that will inspire and please you.I have a few ideas already!
One of the paintings that sold this summer was a thrill for not only me, but my dear Mum. At 88 years young, she loves to go rock hunting, pocketing many to line up on a shelf somewhere. We found a lovely quarry and she was in heaven! So many small rocks to inspect! I painted the spot...her spot... and she called the painting "Leave No Stone Unturned". It sold when I had gone home for a bite.....Hoping whoever bought it will enjoy the story.
